Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm is a world-renowned theme park built from the humblest of beginnings. What started as a small berry farm soon began to grow into a family theme park destination thanks to famous fried chicken dinners, boysenberries and an Old West Ghost Town.

Knott’s Berry Farm now bursts with attractions and entertainment for all ages, including first-class roller coasters, stage shows, interactive experiences, delicious food creations and family-friendly fun featuring Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang. The once small family farm has grown into today’s family fun destination; home to the Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, Knott’s Soak City Waterpark and Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel.

We have season tickets and love it! Great for the kids and us, too. Not as crowded as Disney and lots of spots to grab... a nice IPA or mixed drink. They just reopened Fiesta Village and added some new shows for the kiddos. A puppet show and story time. And a new food spot that's similar to Chipotle and a Margarita spot with flights, but the line was too long. The Western musical was too loud for our 3 year old.read more

Absolutely fantastic theme park, 10/10. They are the first theme park in the entire United States, and they've always... been a top dog in coming up with new types of rides and implementing new innovations in them. There is a fantastic variety of rides for both the daredevils and the more laid back people. I would definitely recommend going early, ideally on weekdays, but at least arrive before the doors open at 10am if you're coming on a weekend. Sometimes they will open the front gates and let you enter the front of the theme park at 9:30 but not let anyone walk to rides until 10. Ghost Rider and Silver Bullet are my two favorite rides, and Hang Time or the drop tower might be the scariest rides I've ever been on. Lines for the rides can get up to 2hrs, download their app so you can choose the rides appropriately.read more

Such a fun place to visit. Food deals are great and lines weren’t too terrible when we went on a Sunday for the... boysenberry festival.Food was amazing and the deals for all day food and drinks were good. We split a drink and food and left super satisfied. I think the all day drinking and dining are worth it. You can honestly split it between two people no issue and I think the value is really good. Can’t wait until we can back again!read more

AMAZING!Knott’s Berry Farm is a very fun place for the whole family!! This place has many different types of... attractions, whether it’s intense rides, mellow rides, rides for young children, popcorn stands, restaurants, games, and so much more. The way the rides are there, people from ant age can find a ride that fits them and they can ride it and enjoy it. The food there is also very good, including restaurants such as Johnny Rockets and Panda Express, and there are many delicious desert places and candy shops. Overall a 10/10, highly recommended for anyone looking to have a fun filled time!!read more

Loved it, went during the boysenberry festival. There was so much to do. There were so many shops, and tons of new food... items to try. Entire ghost town and many parts of the park are filled with gorgeous flowers and arrangements. Great for family pics. There's also a bunch of shows and activities going on for the festival. Workers are friendly and even give good advice on what to try or what times are best to avoid crowds. On Sunday after five the crowds died and it was so nice to see the different parts of the park all lit up. We really enjoyed our time and definitely got our steps in.read more

Authentic and sincere staff; excellent tour through Calico gold-town. The staff actors of the gold town tour were... in-character and delightful for the field trip kids. The park rides are fun and have something for all ages and excitement-levels, whether you like bumper cars or looping roller coasters. I really liked the mine car ride and its cavern scenes. Food is decent for vegetarians. We all loved the Snoopy concert and recommend getting there early enough to grab good seats (if any, as it fills-up fast) and has the whole area dancing and entertained. It’s a fun little park and certainly worth exploring all the nooks and unique decorations. Recommended 👍read more

Location:Good, Parking:Okay, Cleanliness:Good, bathrooms: Decent, Trash monitoring: Okay, seating areas: Decent. Ride... times: kinda fast. Holiday crowd: really decent. Food for price:high. Drinks: also high. Overall: for a 4th of July visit I was happy with the price at the window $99 for day. They did have a small military discount for up to 6 tickets($90 per ticket). It has been years but I was very happy with most of my experience. If I did not have to eat or drink it would of been a great day I found some of the food to be so basic and just lack any taste. The beer was truly the worst tasted in quite a long tme. I would like to see getting what you pay for when it comes to meals. Even the famous Chicken is not what is was to me from past meals. I do hope they can make some simple changes. Like nacho cheese Instead of shredded it did not melt right and was just not worth the money paid.read more

I've been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved it. It still is very similar to the place I remember. My... son loves roller coasters but is only 6 so Knotts is perfect because they have a little bit it everything. The characters there are also awesome. We got the one day pass and an all day drink pass. The drink pass was 100% worth it. It was like 18 bucks with tax and you could get free refills every 15 min. They had tons of places to get the refills. We enjoyed our time.read more

Fantastic place for a day out. Don't be fooled by the name. This place has some incredibly exhilarating rides and... rollercoasters. The lines do tend to be a little long, but the rides are definitely worth it. People of all ages will find something to enjoy here, whether it's the amazing rides or the western themed city, ghost town. The most thrilling rides I would suggest are the Xllerator, silver bullet, hang time, ghost rider, and the free fall.read more

BERRY. SO. MUCH. BERRY. Let me tell you if you love fruit ESPECIALLY berries, this will literally be paradise for you.... All jokes aside, this is considered to be California's best theme park and debatable the original as well. After going here and experiencing this place for myself, I can definitely see why people say that. The ambiance is very welcoming and fresh, the aesthetic is so colorful and inviting, and the theme park as a whole utilizes the berry theme very well throughout it's entirety. The food is good and surprisingly diverse despite a good amount of the selections revolving around boysenberry. The rides are fast paced and quite the thrill ride despite some of the rides having quite the wait time depending on what time and what day you go to the theme park. The stores have a BUNCH of stuff to offer such as food, candy, souvenirs, clothes, glasses, silverware, cups, and THEY EVEN. HAVE. WEAPONS. That's right. You can actually get a pocket knife, knife, and a couple other kind of blades at one of their gift shops. Granted, you can only actually pick this up once you leave the park and it has to be traded from a ticket they give you and there's protocol to be followed, but STILL I found that amazing to be honest. Overall, just like Santa Monica Pier, this is a place that EVERYONE I feel like needs to go to once whether they're visiting or live in California. However, will I say it lives up to it's name as the original and best theme park in California? I'll leave that for you to decide!read more

Had a fantastic time! Took my 9 and 10 year old and they absolutely loved it. Less crowded than Disney. We were bummed... a few rides were down but there was enough others to ride. Staff was very nice and I loved that there were quite a few people all around sweeping up areas or wiping down the bathrooms. Do your research and find out what lines are usually the longest and hit those first. My girls loved the rock store and the gentleman was so nice and helped picked out a rock to cut in half and it was perfect with lots of crystals in the middle. Would definitely recommend!read more

So let me start by saying the rides are honestly fantastic, and the food we ate was great as well. The one star rating... comes from the overall experience. We waited 90 minutes to get food from two different stands-but the food was super good. Then we waited two hours per ride (silver bullet and hang time). Hang time happened to shut down after waiting in line 90 minutes-but that can happen at any park so I don’t hold that against them. The big problem came that there is a culture where line cutting is just the norm here. I started calling out folks for cutting in line and they would all respond with “oh, they’re my friends” or “I just got something to eat” or “I had to use the bathroom”. There is nobody to enforce lines and people will blatantly cut in line and always have an excuse. The fast pass line is not regulated and a large group of people will just go through that line without paying for the pass. I heard numerous workers say “you really aren’t supposed to go through fast pass without the pass-but I will let you this time”.the park is dirty, all the trashes were over filled. There were 3 big fights that broke out at different times requiring police to get involved. It’s not that I felt unsafe, but that’s excessive. Perhaps a weekday is better, but this is one of those experiences where I had such a bad personally experience I would rather go somewhere else. To be in the park for 6 hours and only ride one ride is not worth my time-even if the rides are really good.read more

If you really can't afford other parks, or wasn't able to go to one because of the law, Knott's Berry Farm should be... perfect and more affordable to save you from your troubles! They have neat merchandise for yourself or your friends and family, intense rides that will make you scream, like my personal favorite... the Silver Bullet from Ghost Town, and enjoy some awesome attractions and food! Heck, their chicken is fast, easy and high-quality, but also deliciously tasty! When you have your kids with you, you can take them to Camp Snoopy to meet up with your favorite Peanuts characters for some cute photos! If you haven't went to a theme park for a long time because of the pandemic or you're waiting very eagerly to go there, then America's #1 Theme Park of this will be awesome for you. Have fun and be very safe!🎡🎠🎢🚂read more

It was fun n all. I went on a Friday and somewhat beat the midday rush with parking entry and rides for about an hour... or so. Definitely recommend weekdays if possible and between Friday to Sunday, get a fast pass. Food passes were actually really good and with it. Eat as many times as you want but must wait 90 min before grabbing another meal. There are limited locations that offer this deal but the locations still have a decent variety of foods to choose from.read more

I love it here! You never have to wait to long for a ride, and the rides have a good range from what a person is... comfortable riding on usually on their age. And the Snoopy section is so cute and perfect for littler kids. Although even though the park is mainly themed around the Peanuts, the park itself is so diverse in the activities, themes and everything; one moment you'll be getting "robbed" by train cowboys and the next doing "the Twist" with KNOT Radio. It's awesome here! Totally completely recommend.read more

Full disclosure, I grew up in Buena Park. This place is full of happy childhood memories! One of my favorite events is... the Boysenberry Festival. Any time of year this place is a great amusement park for the whole family. Lots of places to push around a stroller, sitting as needed. Camp Snoopy is perfect for the younger set. Lots of coasters and thrill rides for the older kids and young at heart. Much more affordable than Disneyland, which I still love, but it has gotten crazy expensive.read more

A great alternative for families on a budget and who hate waiting in long lines. Less action then Disneyland that's for... sure. No parades, no real fun atmosphere and no ongoing entertainment. Never saw Charlie Brown or Snoopy. No singers. No dancers. Didn't see any shows going on. The staff is definitely less friendly and actually saw a couple staff personnel yell at customers. I was actually shocked. Everything closes at 6pm and the park is very dark once the sun goes down -- awful night time lighting.Lots of unhealthy food options, which is a bummer. I'm giving them 4 stars based on the fact that it's way more affordable than their competitors and also for short wait times on most of their rides. But there is definitely room for improvement. Staff should be more friendly and professional and less condescending and rude to customers. They should have better healthy food choices. They definitely need better forms of entertainment. While waiting in lines all we could hear was boring outdated music from a distance. Should have a light show at night, which would also improve the awful nighttime lighting and increase sales. A Snoopy and gang musical parade, a fireworks show and dressing up the park with lights on trees are just some basic things that would elevate the park tremendously. The rides were fun, fairly short but some are scary in a good way. My personal fav was finding 4 beautiful baby pigs taking a nap in the barn area (see my photo). The funnel cake was really good and the BBQ Place was decent, loved their corn bread -- a bit pricey but good.read more

I highly suggest getting a season pass here...I'm a season pass holder for 2 years now. It's inexpensive as opposed to... Disneyland plus no reservations required to enter. During the week...particularly Tue-Thu are least crowded. Parking is $20. Fun for all ages! Not much walking unlike six flags, Disneyland or Universal Studios which I've frequently visited and always left sore due to walking over hills and valleys it seemed.read more

I got a season pass for both my daughter and myself. We go at least once a month and every time we have a blast. There... is plenty of food options and rides for everyone to enjoy. This is a great place to get a taste for more thrilling roller coasters than the neighboring amusement park that shall not be named. A fun time for the whole family! 5 stars!read more

Good theme park, but today was not it. We reserved a week ago, and they lifted the reservation requirement ~2 days ago... so the park was very full. We walked in the park at 10am and Ghost rider was already 3 hour wait! We did two rides in 6.5 hours with wait times easily 2 Hrs each. We also got the premium all day dining passes which quickly found out most places did not have items we could get. They should really add the exact items as that would save so much more time for all. Would only recommend coming on weekday.read more

Great for all ages, summertime is fun. They have live bands and good outdoor seating. Can walk around with your brews... too! Outstanding fun, and relaxation time. We stop by here on our way down to visit in San Diego, as it's an easy stop off.... The boysenberry lattes are delicious, the chicken to go is yummy or if you want stay longer and eat in the restaurant. Right now it's free parking for 1 hour if your just going in for a quick grab and go, or an extra 2 hours after that if you spend 20 dollars more. We'll worth a quick stop off, or even a full day in the park.read more
