Los Angeles Aquariums

The Los Angeles Aquariums are a fun and educational experience for the entire family.  Luckily for you, LA has a few to choose from.  The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is a world-class aquarium, exploring the waters of Southern California and Baja, the Northern Pacific, and the Tropical Pacific. Home to more than 11,000 ocean animals, representing nearly 500 species, the Aquarium celebrates the planet’s largest and most diverse body of water: the Pacific Ocean.   

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium has a spectacular natural setting adjacent to Cabrillo Beach Coastal Park and the Port of Los Angeles. The historic Frank Gehry-designed aquarium displays the largest collection of Southern California marine life in the world. Since 1935, CMA has provided visitors with both a natural and interactive approach to learning about the marine environment of Southern California.
