Had been a few years that I had visited CityWalk. Arrived about 6pm on a Saturday. It was definitely crowded. There are many restaurants to choose from. I'm sure it was due to people attending Horror Nights. We checked out the new Willy Womka Chocolate Emporium that took over the space where the Hard Rock was located. It was very nice inside and out. Surprisingly, though, a lot of stores started closing about 10pm. It seemed way too early for me.

This really is a great walk ! They have really adorable shops like Mario world and its sugar . They also have a really neat karma and luck shop with great jewelry and stones etc. They also have Nectar which is a customizable bath ahoo where you can mix and match fun smells to your favorite items like bath bombs and body butter. They also have a brand new authentic celebrity shop with signed celebrity props and things. I think adding a little more extra seating around would be nice !

Very clean, well shaded area to shop, eat, and rest before you go into Universal Studios. They also have many universal shops so you don't have to worry about only purchasing the items in the park. Definitely take your time walking around exploring the stores.

Had a really enjoyable day. However the super mario world ride had a problem and they knew it was gonna take hours to fix but they didnt bother to tell anyone waiting at the line. Ended up wasting 2 hours there for nothing.

I visited this park when I was young, too many years ago for me to admit to, and I loved it then, and I definitely love it now. It cost a bit but it is definitely worth a visit if you can manage the 110 or so dollars to pay for general admission. A great place to bring your family, just be sure to arrive early so you will have time to do see and do everything you want to. The wait times are always going to be long. But other than that downside it is still a great place to visit. Highly recommend.

Very lively place with things to do such as shopping, eating, movies, and even a Super Nintendo World store like a preview before actually going to the section in the theme park. Even after the theme park closes, there’s a lot to do in City Walk at night.

Lots of shops. I must admit the candy one's were awesome. Several places to eat. We ate at Jimmy buffett's margaritaville and it was great. I'll be back in my next vacation. I was surprised to see Voodoo donuts has a place. I've been to the original one in Portland Or several times they are good.

Great place to come and hang out. A lot of great places to eat and shop. Great place to watch a game while you enjoy a bite and a drink. If it’s hot, the kids can cool down in the water feature they have. Fun for everyone!!

We had a lot of fun. Paid $70 for front gate parking and for VIP Express Tickets plus Early Access for Mario World. Bought a band at city walk and by the time we got down all 4 escalators and to the land I believe it was 7:20am Only got to do Bowser's Challenge once. By the time we got off it was right after 8am and the park had filled up with long wait times even for the key challenges. That was disappointing. We loved the land, it was awesome.I can't imagine trying to go without buying the Early Access tickets. $20 per ticket more. Buy them!Take the Studio Tour!! I wasn't sure how fun it would be, but very entertaining and 3 attractions. It lasted about an hour.We got stuck on Secret Life of Pets 5 times. They handed me a printed ticket for the express lane for one ride, which didn't help because we had already purchased express. My 10 year old said she wished we had not even gotten on this ride. I understand rides break down. I was stuck in front of fans blowing gale force winds on me in the grooming shop part of the ride. 😂 Funny because I was a pet groomer for 15 years. Are at Three Broomsticks (ate here in Florida as well) and got a ton of food. Ordered the Chicken & Ribs for 4 and Fish & Chips. It was pretty good.We have only ever been a Universal Studios Florida and I really didn't have any expectations for Universal Studios Hollywood. I was a little shocked at how smaller everything was and the amount of rides.Am I happy we went? Heck yes! Just wish for the price paid there were more rides.

Pretty cool experience. There are tons of nice decorations and a few good restaurants. There are many shops that mostly sell the same merchandise as the actual park. However I’m not sure if there are cheap parking options nearby. $30 bucks universal studio parking is too much for this. Parking gets less expensive in the evening though.

A good number of places to look around and window shop, and places to grab food and drinks. I think it's a bit unfair that you have to pay the $30 for parking whether you're just going there for Citiwalk instead of the theme park too though. The indoor skydiving is cool to watch. The Its Sugar shop is definitely worth checking out, much bigger and more to see than the one in Santa Monica.

I like walking around, but because some of the restaurants and shops close/change so often, it always seems like if you liked something a few months ago, it's gone now. Good meals and snacks though for the restaurants that are still there. But it won't take long to walk through everything.

Iconic theme park that isn't really that expensive. You're able to enter City Walk for free but if you drive here there is a parking fee which I believe is $20. All the attractions are worth it but it's also a great place to just walk around!

I went in the evening without buying a pass to the actual park and it was amazing! Lights, lights, lights galore! We also caught some fireworks that were being set off in the park. I drove and it only cost $10 for all day parking. Would recommend!

Fantastic place to hangout with friends for a drink or two. There was a lot of nice shops for drinks, coffee and food.Easy to reach by car, and public transport as the metro is just down the road.I absolutely enjoyed my visit and I do recommend anyone visiting LA to pop by and see it! Not to mention about the incredible views of LA surroundings from there! Just Fab!

Try to be there in the evening so you may enjoy some live performances and the street lights. They have some amazing shops and food court. You may also enjoy movie in AMC. So if you don’t want to get into the actual park you can visit this place. This place has indoor skydiving, so please check their slots availability. It’s a open place so NO ENTRY FEES

CityWalk was a blast to finally see in person. I had listened to all 18 episodes of Podcast the Ride CityWalk Saga and felt like I was on a pilgrimage. A lot of good shops only caveat is I'd liked to have had better food choices. Surprisingly easy access from the highway and plan on going back again when I fly through Burbank/Hollywood airport.

Only 3 stars, although a great experience for kids it's not worth the wait times, parking, and admission prices. Then if you want to beat the wait times their response is to pay even more ridiculous prices. I only went for half a day but my advice is to plan in advance to stay close by take the shuttle get the 3 day tickets on Groupon or LApass.

Pretty cool entertainment area with lots of eateries & sweet spots and a movie theater. Parking at the lowest is $30 & is a little hike to get from the garage to the walk. (Best bet is to take the elevator to get down faster than the escalators take you.) A few of the restuarants were closed & there were no performances or anything special going on. We went on a Thursday so maybe that's why. All in all it's a nice spot to hang out if you don't mind spending so much for parking.

City walk is awesome for many walks (no pun) of people. It’s got all the touristy stuff. Kids and family. It’s got dining and shopping and even a couple places for nightlife. And if you’re staying near by or overnight there then of course there’s universal studios which is great for everyone. Just one knock but this goes with ANYTHING touristy. The prices can build up on you VERY fast. If they can charge you for it. They will. From parking to lockers to bags and anything else that should be free due to the entry fees alone. So if you have a bundle of disposable income! I highly recommend both city walk and universal!

I love strolling down CityWalk. Restaurants, shops, huge decorations (the iconic King Kong!), and seeing all the kids running around the splash pad area makes it a welcome treat before entering the park. I've eaten at several of the restaurants here and they never disappoint. Of course, the price can be a bit of sticker shock, since it's part of a theme park in the middle of Los Angeles, but if you can afford it, I really recommend checking out some of the places to eat!

Always a great hangout! I've been frequenting this venue since it's opening in the 90's. It's always lively, fun and constantly being updated. Makes for a great day of shopping and eating or a fun night out. It definitely turns a visit at the theme park a full day experience.

This was my first time back here in maybe 4 or 5 years. Its changed quite a lot I think due to the pandemic and some of the businesses / restaurants having closed such as Hard Rock Cafe and Saddle Ranch. However the bars that are there seemed decent. I had lunch with a friend there and it was good. The parking charges were reasonable too even for valet service. It was nice to be back here and I recommend to anyone.

This place is right here, outside Universal Studios. It is a nice place to spend the day and evening. There are many shops and restaurants to eat. Also, there is a very large cinema. I liked this place. I recommend, if anyone comes to visit to Los Angeles.

Always a nice place to eat and stroll around with friends and family. Not much crowd during New Year’s Eve. Watched the fireworks. Expected $20 for parking but $30… for few hours , didn’t expect that.

Super cool place to go shopping at. There some really good food places here and the atmosphere is great! The lines can be pretty long to get food but you an find somewhere that's pretty short. Beware, when the park is opening, this place is REALLY crowded. If you're coming here for lunch, know that some of these places aren't open until later in the day, there were multiple places closed at noon when we went to eat.

What a great place to visit. Even if you aren't entering into the Universal Park the Walk is worth checking out. Loads of shopping with memorabilia that will bring a smile to your face. Every detail was well thought out and there is so much to see and try to place the movie it is from.

Haven't been here for at least 2 years. Honesty love some of the new stores and food options. Parking still seems like a lot, they should offer a bit more validation options.like if you spend this much... Parking is free or something like that, just a suggestion 🤷

Universal City Walk is great! It can be a good place to get a bite to eat or watch a movie. Lots of fun for kids because there is a water feature where you can run in and get wet. There are also many shops such as the Dodger store. My only concern is to plan ahead of time. Make a reservation somewhere, there is not much to do without having a plan first.

At first I have to note that I've been to Universal at Orlando and it was way better. The park is nice and tidy, most of employees treat nice and with kindness.Vary of rides is not enough and most of the rides are old and boring.Must is the Jurassic Park rideAnd the Mummy and transformers are cool as well.Food and beverages are way too expensive and the dishes are small-medium size.It is a nice place to spent 6-8 hours with family or friends, but only for one timeI will not go back, probably.

Please note that Universal CityWalk Hollywood is not Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal CityWalk Hollywood is a mall that you walk through prior to getting to the entrance to Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Phew, now that we have that out of the way we can move on to the review.Universal CityWalk Hollywood has much to offer those who are wanting to have many options for dining. There are also several options for shopping. Universal CityWalk Hollywood treats your eyes with lots of visuals. I feel as if it's almost like a Vegas experience without the gambling as you walk down the street. The mall is very clean and you will feel very safe. I was visiting during evening hours and lines do form. You will want to arrive earlier to beat those lines or make reservations where and when applicable. If you are going to do any shopping prior to visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, there are lockers you can rent to use to store your goodies. If you're looking for a fun safe place to enjoy dining with lots of options, this is definitely a go. I highly recommend this mall.

It's extremely touristy I think the shops inside the park are no better either. There's a couple gems looks like the Hot topic had a lot of fun stuff as well as the dark horse comics. Some of the food looked pretty good. The lights and sites were very entertaining as well. I still think overall it's worth checking out.
