iFLY Hollywood is the experiential entertainment company that created modern indoor skydiving. The iFLY experience, from check-in to check out, lasts roughly 1.5 to 2 hours and is equivalent to 1.5 skydives. You can purchase 2+ flights.

iFLY started in 1998 as SkyVenture, LLC. Once we had developed the technology to create a stable, wall-to-wall cushion of air in a flight chamber, we knew we could offer an incredibly realistic and safe indoor skydiving experience. We opened our first indoor skydiving facility in 1999. Between 1999 and 2005, we opened three more facilities. In 2005, we rebranded ourselves iFLY, maintaining SkyVenture as our design and manufacturing company. Today, iFLY has 37 locations around the world in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia, and the list continues to grow.

TRAINING: Your flight instructor is trained and certified by the IBA (International Bodyflight Association) – he or she is happy to address any questions or concerns about flying or the sport of bodyflight! During training in our classroom, you will learn proper body positioning and hand signals used by our instructors to guide your flight. Remember: Relax and have fun!

GEAR UP: After training, your instructor will lead you to the Gear Up counter where you will receive a helmet, flight suit, and goggles to wear during your experience.

FLYING: It’s time to fly! Your instructor will lead you into the Flight Chamber and assist you while entering, flying, and exiting. Remember what you learned during training to help achieve proper technique. Once you nail the basics, the wind tunnel can become your playground! Enjoy an instructor air show once you and your party have finished flying.

First time I got to do any indoor skydiving and it was a blast! You watch a video and learn the 4 different hand... signals which is pretty easy. Then you put the skydiving outfit on and get in the flying zone! I recommend doing this if yiu ever get a chance.read more

I work here part time. They let me fly for free sometimes. It is a complicated activity, if you want to learn to... control your motion in your orientation in flight. So far, I can only fly on the belly and control my spin. I still want to learn to control my forward and reverse motion, which I can kind of do but needs a lot of practice. I’ve done this experience but in Ontario CA. It’s much more private. The one here In universal is located outdoors.... People are constantly watching when I did this experience it took me time to get used to the flying I can imagine here having eyes on you and people recording. But In reality it’s nice because you can have family and Friends looking at you compared to the one in Ontario where only ticket holder con enter. I really recommend people to try it im scared to do the plane one ? this is the closest to free fall that I’ll experience.read more

This was one of the best experiences of my 9 year old son’s entire existence! He was so excited and so brave! I went as... well; I did it scared and would do it again.The instructor was great on all levels, personable, reassuring, trustworthy, and knowledgeable.The feeling is an experience unlike any other, but personally, I like the safety of not leaping out of an airplane. Great experience for boyfriends, husbands and kids. Easy to book online! Would highly recommend as something fun to do... when you are at Universal Studios. Bring a sweatshirt , it gets cold especially around 4. The price is a little steep at $50-70 per person for about 5 minutes of “air time”. The check in time is actually when you need to be there, another 30 minutes of classroom instruction. Oh and yes they have bathrooms! The experience takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the group size. You can purchase photos for a few bucks more. Merchandise is 10% off if you buy an Ifly.read more

What an amazing experience. I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone and this definitely helped me with it. Our... guide was very sweet and made sure we were properly strapped with our safety equipment. Our birthday party experience.Booked morning party for 6 kids with room. Glad we had AM shade. Front cashier nice.... There is only one room used for parties. small, but nice. Really, not enough space for more than 6 flyers with parents. Instructor good. Flying experience is amazing. But make sure the suit fits well. If belt too high it will hurt your stomach from the force of the wind. My complaint is there was no guidance or help during the party. We brought extra food for the parents. We set out and cleaned all on our own.We had to ask if we could start the flights. We had to ask for parking validation. Another couple also flew during our party. They had the kids sit through the couple's multiple filghts. If your guests are a minute over the 2 and half hour validation they are charged $25 for parking. So don't have guests arrive early and get them out quick. iFly is probably a better experience as a drop by activity.read more

The instructor was nice but the price is a complete rip off.I didn't realize it, but a 'Flight' is 1 minute long. So... when you buy 2 flights, that means 2 minutes of flying. Additionally they put you in a group with ~10 other people so you have to sit and wait for ~30 minutes while they are flying for your 2 minutes to come up.So you show up on time for your reservation, you'll wait 30 minutes before starting the training (to ensure everyone is there), train and suit up, wait while everyone in the group goes in the chamber... its $75 for 1.5 hours of waiting and 2 minutes of flight time. And that's if you don't pay the extra $15/flight to 'go higher', which would bring you to $105. WOW.read more

I almost had to miss my time here due to other plans, but luckily, those plans didn't work out. The staff reached out a... couple times before my time and was willing to work with me and rescheduled my flight time from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and overall, great! I got there early for my new flight time and the class I was with watched a short video, went over hand signs (because of the loud noises when indoor skydiving), and other safety stuff. We put our stuff away in easy to use lockers, put on our flight gear (earplugs, jumpsuit, helmet, etc), and it was easy to do. The flights were a little more challenging than expected, but the staff was there and was very helpful! Thanks, Ifly! Hope to go for round 2 sometime in the near future!read more

My minor son had a blast, instructors were polite, informative and made my son feel at ease. The lady behind the... counter has very poor customer service skills. She's very "matter of fact" and dismissive. I saw her interact with 4-5 customers while waiting. I think one customer changed his mind during the checkout process. English wasn't his native tongue and he had trouble understanding the price and the extra charge to go up higher. Her tone was dismissive, rude and condescending to others. I believe her name was Brianna (or something along those lines). She has two toned hair (redish/pink with black) but on her employee photo on the wall her hair is an orange color. I understand it was near closing but that doesn't mean she should take it out on the customers especially if some were just inquiring about pricing for a future visit. I normally don't write reviews but i feel this is something that should be brought to your attention.read more
